- 1 – 16 ounce can of garbanzo beans
- 4 to 6 cloves minced garlic
- 1/3 cup tahini
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 3 tablespoons water (you can also use the juice you have from draining the garbanzo beans)
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 3/4 teaspoon garlic salt
Pour the finished hummus recipe mixture into a bowl. You can serve it immediately or cover it with plastic wrap and place it in the fridge. Storing it overnight really helps the flavors in the hummus recipe to meld overnight.
